Hello, I'm Adris. I am committed to helping individuals reach their fullest potential by giving them the skills, support, hope, and encouragement they need to live their best lives. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to therapy. I received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and have spent the past 10 years working in various settings, including Hospice/Palliative Care, Home Health Care, working with delinquent adolescents, and both inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities. I am also the founder of Next Steps Professional Counseling Services, LLC. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that you are more than your past or current situation. I specialize in a wide range of areas, including children's mental and behavioral health, family relationships, perinatal support, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, ADHD, medical issues, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, grief, life transitions, multicultural and diversity issues, spirituality, stress, trauma, adolescent and teen mental and behavioral health, and suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. In our sessions, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you're dealing with emotional disorders, behavioral challenges, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, parenting skills, anger management, social skills, or low self-esteem, I am here to help you navigate these challenges and find a path forward.
