I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 + years of experience. I provide services to clients who are struggling with life’s various difficulties, traumas, and adversities. I provide therapy using age-appropriate, creative and expressive methods to give every individual an outlet to process feelings, challenges, hopes, and goals. In my sessions, I focus on using evidence-based techniques such as CBT, Narrative, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, Gestalt, Motivational interviewing, Psychoeducation, Behavior management, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy to help clients improve symptoms. I often work with clients to address various challenges that they are facing. In my spare time, I like gardening, walking my dogs, and spending time with family. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Barry University School of Social Work in Miami, Florida. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. Since graduating from the social work program in 2009, I have been working in various fields of social work, dedicated to assisting individuals to achieve full self-awareness and strength from the inside out. I have worked within a variety of settings with diverse individuals providing me with numerous and valuable experiences. My career has given me the ability to independently conduct assessments, individual sessions and provide help to a wide variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, ethnic, educational and other diversified backgrounds. My current role as a therapist on Total Life enables me to focus on my passion to support older adults and that’s important to me because my goal is to help you on that path to becoming a better you.
