Whether it’s anxiety that won’t quit, shame that’s hard to talk about, or questions about sexuality and intimacy, therapy can be a place to finally say what’s on your mind. In a sex-positive, LGBTQ+ and kink-affirming space, I help adults explore intimacy, sexual identity, relationships, and attachment patterns while navigating anxiety, shame, self-doubt, and other emotional challenges. I also welcome neurodivergent clients and recognize the ways neurodivergence can intersect with identity, relationships, sexuality, and emotional well-being. I have experience supporting clients with depression, mood disorders, ADHD, autism, OCD, and other mental health concerns. I also work with couples to enhance communication, strengthen conflict resolution skills, and rebuild emotional connection. My approach is collaborative, grounded in curiosity, and focused on helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. I believe the foundation of effective therapy lies in the relationship we build together, and I value a dynamic grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is collaborative, curious, and nonjudgmental. I want you to feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and showing up as your authentic self. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. Instead, we’ll work together to understand your experiences, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and explore what feels right for you. I draw from approaches including CBT, IFS, Solution-Focused Therapy, REBT, and mindfulness, while adapting my approach to what feels most helpful for you. Most importantly, I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work will look a little different depending on what brings you to therapy and what you need from session to session. In an initial session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you’d like to work on. We’ll also discuss your history and any concerns that may be helpful for me to understand so we can develop a plan together. In ongoing sessions, we’ll check in about what’s been happening since we last met and focus on the concerns, patterns, or goals that feel most important to you. Depending on what we’re working on, sessions may involve exploring thoughts and emotions, identifying patterns in relationships or behavior, developing coping strategies, practicing new skills, or simply making space to process what you’re experiencing. I want therapy to feel collaborative, so we’ll regularly check in about what is and isn’t feeling helpful and adjust our approach as needed.
