I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy for adults who feel anxious, stuck in overthinking, emotionally exhausted, or impacted by trauma and relationship patterns. I specialize in culturally responsive care for Arab and Muslim clients and anyone navigating identity, family expectations, boundaries, and shame or perfectionism. My work is structured and practical, while still going deep. We clarify what is keeping you stuck, calm the nervous system, and build lasting change with evidence-based therapy.

Getting to know Aicha Nadifi

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing therapy for adults who feel anxious, stuck in overthinking, emotionally exhausted, or impacted by trauma and relationship patterns. I specialize in culturally responsive care for Arab and Muslim clients and anyone navigating identity, family expectations, boundaries, and shame or perfectionism. People often come to me for anxiety, panic symptoms, chronic stress, rumination, low self-worth, attachment wounds, breakup recovery, and the aftereffects of emotionally painful relationships. My work is structured and practical, while still going deep. We clarify what is keeping you stuck, calm the nervous system, and build lasting change with evidence-based therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work best with clients who want both depth and direction. I bring warmth and compassion, and I’m also active in session. If you tend to overthink, second-guess yourself, or feel emotionally flooded, we will slow things down, get grounded in the body, and build a steadier relationship with your thoughts and feelings. My approach is culturally attuned, especially for Arab and Muslim clients balancing family pressure, identity, relationships, and self-worth. You do not need to explain the cultural context from scratch. We will focus on the present patterns while also honoring what shaped them.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a structured, collaborative approach so sessions feel focused and useful. In the first 1 to 2 sessions, we clarify what is bringing you in, what you have tried so far, and the patterns that keep showing up. We also identify your goals and what “progress” would look like for you. If it’s relevant, we’ll talk about culture, identity, family dynamics, and any past experiences that still shape your nervous system and relationships today. Ongoing sessions typically include: A brief check-in on your week and any immediate stressors. Identifying the main theme for that session (anxiety, overthinking, boundaries, relationship dynamics, trauma stress, self-worth). Gentle skill-building alongside deeper processing, so you have tools you can use between sessions. A clear takeaway at the end, including one small, realistic action step to practice before we meet again.
