Getting to know Aida M Girod
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and 25 years ago I moved to Florida where I currently reside. I graduated in 2005 from Florida International University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. At the present time, I hold 9 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan, Massachusetts. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and I have more than 20 years of experience in the mental health and social services arena.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have vast experience with adults and families that come from diverse cultures and backgrounds. I have extensive experience treating clients with depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, anxiety, multicultural and acculturation issues, stress management, communication skills, life transitions and adjustments, sleep, parenting skills, Trauma, ADHD, grief, inter generational issues, couples and family issues.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
