Hi, I'm Aida Rivera, a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University. I have extensive experience in behavioral health treatment and would love to help you work through understanding and managing some of your challenges and struggles. Life can come with unexpected turns and surprises, and oftentimes we need support navigating these experiences. I've had the privilege of working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. I've worked with adolescents, young adults, and older adults utilizing Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Supportive Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Some of my clients have found themselves working through symptoms of depression and anxiety. I've sought to help them discover their triggers, and we've explored strategies that help improve their current state of wellbeing. We've worked on gaining greater insight into what they're feeling and experiencing and explored tools that help them lead a more successful and satisfying life. In addition, my love of children has led me to work with families who have children with special needs. I've been able to share strategies that have helped them be more successful with their children. I am also bilingual and speak Spanish fluently. I've enjoyed working with my clients and look forward to working with you too!
