Hi there, I'm Ailene! Aloha, I'm Ailene Schwartzlow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Hawai‘i. My primary focus has been working with children and families in various community settings. Currently, I am engaged in Medical Social Work, which includes supporting our senior population and assisting with long-term life planning goals. One of my greatest passions is serving my local community and addressing therapeutic needs. My approach My therapeutic approach is relational, supportive, and personalized to your unique needs. We will use a variety of methods tailored to fit you. The goal of our therapeutic relationship is to help you find your pathway to discover your inner strength and resiliency. My journey to mental healthcare I am originally from Wai‘anae, Oahu, where I was born and raised. Growing up on the Westside of Oahu, I understand the challenges rural communities face in accessing resources. I attended the University of Hawai‘i for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Over the past 20-plus years in social work, I have been blessed with amazing experiences working with diverse populations-from keiki (children) and ‘ohana (families) to kupuna (elderly). I currently live in Lahaina, Maui, with my supportive husband and our two beautiful fur-dog girls. We are proud empty nesters of two young adult sons.
