Are you an adult feeling overly anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? I'm Aimee Restifo, LCSW, PMH-C, and I invite you to join me at Live Life Therapy to overcome your anxiety or mood challenges once and for all. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health provider, I specialize in therapy for women, parents, and birthing individuals. I hold a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from Fairfield University. I enjoy working with younger adults facing relationship challenges, life phase adjustments, and perinatal anxiety or postpartum mood disorders. I also support older adults navigating life transitions and stressors. Together, I can teach you quick, easy techniques to better manage your emotions, helping you feel supported and empowered.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an eclectic approach to therapy - some people benefit from a solutions-focused approach, others from self-empowerment and cognitive behavioral therapy, and others from techniques such as mindfulness and breathwork. I strive to provide a calming, comforting, non-judgmental environment for my clients and can help you work through your stressors while focusing on your strengths and positive qualities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Psychotherapy is talk therapy to improve conditions of the mind or thoughts. 1st step - Free 15 minute call to see if we're a good fit 2nd step - 1st session for initial assessment, building of rapport, review of life and family history and current symptoms, & formulation of treatment goals 3rd step - Subsequent sessions are typically 45-60 minutes each
