My journey to mental healthcare I earned my Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in various social work settings, including child welfare, hospitals, prisons, and shelters. My goals for you I approach goal setting on a case-by-case basis. Goals can be fluid and evolve over time or be concrete and time-limited, depending on your needs. My first session with you In our first session, I ask many questions to assess your level of functioning and to give you a clear sense of how I interact, so you can decide if you want to continue. I think of the first session as an interview—where I determine if I’m a good fit for you.
