Getting to know Alaina Mount

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling from the University of Memphis, I understand that everyone has different goals for their counseling experience. That's why I believe in adapting treatment to fit each client's unique needs. I combine understanding and empathy with direct and honest feedback to help clients actively work through their challenges. My aim is to create an environment of trust and security where clients feel comfortable processing difficult issues without fear of judgment. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but use a variety of techniques to best support my clients. My experience includes private practice as well as inpatient treatment centers. I work with individuals and couples on a range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, communication difficulties, adjustment and life changes, anger management, and more. When I'm not counseling, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and traveling. Whether you need individual or couples counseling, I am happy to begin this journey with you toward finding balance. After booking, Tava Health will text and email you a link to complete registration and join your video therapy session. Once registered, you can log in to Tava to join your session, book additional appointments, and message your therapist. Appointments are for talk therapy over video. This therapist cannot provide medication prescriptions, emotional support animal (ESA) letters, or immigration psychological evaluations.
