He earned his Master’s degree in Counseling. In addition, he attended and graduated from the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis in 1993.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*We are not able to treat substance abuse or mental health crises, nor do we prescribe medication. Our practice only provides therapy for non-acute (i.e. non-emergency) situations.* He has assisted people with struggles associated with severe mental illness as well as the more common life challenges of depression, anxiety and relationship concerns. He utilizes an eclectic and integrative approach to therapy including psychodynamic as well as cognitive behavioral modalities.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

He is a strong proponent of utilizing the therapeutic relationship itself as a powerful and indispensable tool in overcoming the myriad life challenges that bring people to therapy. He employs a down to earth and sometimes light hearted approach that can make therapy both an enjoyable as well as helpful experience.
