Psychotherapist
NY
I work with new parents, expectant mothers, and hopeful parents who are navigating the emotional challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, or the grief of a miscarriage. Many of the clients who come to me are overwhelmed by anxiety or sadness after experiencing challenges during the parenthood journey, or just not feeling like themselves. My goal is to help you heal, find your footing again, and develop effective coping strategies that will serve you long-term. As a licensed mental health counselor and perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C), my approach is trauma-informed and tailored to you. I integrate proven methods like psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness to help you process your experiences and build resilience. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish. I understand how heavy and isolating these challenges can feel, and I honor your courage in seeking support. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. I offer a warm, compassionate space, grounded in cultural humility, where you can begin to heal. When you feel ready, I'm here to help you take that brave first step.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My top priority during the first session is making you feel safe, heard, and understood. I also want you to see that there is hope, no matter how much you might be struggling. We'll spend the time talking about what's been bringing you in, what your experience has been like, and what your hopes are for therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I create a safe space for you to ask me any questions you have about the process and for us to decide together if it feels like a good fit. More than anything, I want you to walk away from that first session feeling validated and with a sense of hope that things can get better and a good idea of how we can work together.
