Alane Atchley, LMFT

Psychotherapist
NC
Hi, I'm Alane, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving individuals in Texas and North Carolina through virtual therapy. I work with people who look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed behind the scenes. Many of my clients are capable, independent, and used to being the ones others rely on, but have reached a point where simply pushing through is no longer sustainable. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, stress, life transitions, silent grief, relationship challenges, and the pressure of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, creating a space where you can feel understood while exploring the patterns, experiences, and expectations that shape how you move through life. Together, we’ll build self-awareness, strengthen boundaries, and develop tools that support meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about helping you reconnect with yourself, understand your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-trust.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
