Hello, and welcome to your journey of self-exploration. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master's in Counseling from Capella University, who utilizes a trauma-informed lens approach to therapy. I work with trauma, mood disorders (anxiety, depression), self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My focus I typically work with clients who struggle with trauma, PTSD symptoms, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), and self-esteem. My communication style I create a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, and exploratory environment for clients. My goals for you I approach setting goals in a realistic manner, accompanied by a treatment plan mirroring what the client would like to work on. My first session with you I typically go over mandated reporting and take time to get to know the client, what brings them to therapy, how it feels to be in therapy, and what their goals are for therapy.
