Many people move through life feeling disconnected, numb, or stuck—going through the motions without a sense of fulfillment or direction. For some, especially men, there is pressure to keep emotions inside and “push through,” even when things feel overwhelming. Over time, this can lead to isolation, unhealthy coping habits, and a deeper disconnection from themselves and others. I work with teen boys, young men, adult men, and individuals who are ready to feel better about themselves and address the challenges holding them back. My approach centers on creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. With experience across community, medical, and emergency settings, I bring both clinical expertise and a grounded, real-world perspective to our work. Whether you’re struggling with mental health concerns, relationship challenges, stress, or life transitions, I offer both therapeutic support and mentorship to help you move forward with confidence and clarity. I believe that meaningful change is possible with commitment and support, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients on that journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You will be heard without judgment. I prioritize creating a safe and respectful space where you can be honest about your thoughts and experiences. I take a collaborative, down-to-earth approach. Therapy with me is not about lectures—it’s a conversation. We work together to understand your challenges and identify practical ways to move forward. I combine clinical expertise with real-world mentorship. My background allows me to support not just mental health concerns, but also related struggles like relationships, stress, and life direction. I work especially well with men and young people. I understand the unique barriers many face when it comes to opening up and seeking help. Growth requires effort—but you won’t do it alone. If you’re willing to engage in the process, I will meet you with equal commitment and support.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In the first few sessions, I take time to understand your history, current challenges, and what’s most important to you. Together, we identify patterns, stressors, and areas for growth. We clarify what you want to change or improve—whether that’s feeling more confident, managing emotions, improving relationships, or addressing specific mental health concerns. Ongoing Therapy & Skill Building Sessions focus on: Increasing self-awareness Processing emotions in a healthy way Building practical coping and communication skills Challenging unhelpful patterns and beliefs I adapt my approach to your needs, offering both insight and actionable guidance. We regularly check in on your progress and adjust our focus as needed. As you gain confidence and develop new skills, the work evolves to support your continued growth.
