You long to remove this familiar barrier from impacting your ability to relax, to focus, to show up more as yourself in relationships. With a Master's in Social Work from City University of New York, Lehman College, I am dedicated to helping you find that missing piece and support you on your journey toward greater connection and self-understanding.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I find that therapy is most effective when certain norms are established. Chief among these is a spirit of warmth and emotional safety for you to share your story freely and openly. As a part of the psychoanalytic tradition, I will encourage you to take the lead in our sessions, privileging your voice and autonomy as we collaboratively work through your pain together. As a relational therapist, I center the therapeutic relationship, encouraging us to continually fine-tune what is needed in the therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I place a strong emphasis on balancing developing psychological insight as well as allowing for a cathartic experience that allows for deep emotional processing. We will work together to express the inexpressible parts of yourself all in the name of helping you to feel whole again. Blending an Existential, Psychoanalytic, and Humanistic perspective, I will help you along your journey of self discovery to remove what has been in the way of you becoming who you are.
