My approach is grounded in understanding how attachment and relationships shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that people heal and grow through safe, meaningful relationships. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, life transitions, relationship difficulties, family violence, and the effects of homelessness and other significant stressors. My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and I work alongside clients to identify the patterns, experiences, and relationships that may be influencing their current struggles. Together, we develop realistic goals and practical strategies that support lasting change. One area of particular focus in my work is attachment and relationships. Our earliest relationships often shape how we view ourselves, connect with others, and respond to stress. I help clients explore these experiences in ways that promote greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthier connections with the people who matter most. For parents and caregivers, I often incorporate approaches that strengthen the bond between children and their caregivers and support healthy emotional development. Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, recovery from trauma, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, or family healing, I am committed to helping you build stronger connections, increase resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I utilize interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. Depending on your goals, therapy may include elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, play therapy techniques, family systems approaches, and other modalities designed to promote healing and resilience. Clients often tell me they appreciate my genuine, down-to-earth approach. While therapy can be challenging at times, I strive to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and comfortable discussing difficult topics at your own pace. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you gain insight, develop new skills, and make choices that align with your values and goals.
