I'm grateful for your visit. My name is Aldric Browne, and I'd like to share a bit about who I am and how I can support you on your journey. I was born and raised in Georgetown, South Carolina. The idea of building a practice that blends the values from my upbringing with the rich traditions of South Carolina truly excites me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor, specializing in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate and completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. With over 15 years in the human services field, I have worked in local public school systems, county alcohol and drug programs, community mental health services, and private counseling settings. Each role has shaped my growth and development as a clinician. At A+ Counseling and Consulting, I am dedicated to integrating my skills, professional practices, and insights to provide the best care possible. My expertise is in individual counseling, where I have supported diverse clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem and self-worth issues, life transitions, mood disorders, stressors related to minority and marginalized populations, LGBTQIA concerns, sexual identity, and gender identity. I strictly follow the ethical codes and guidelines of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Building strong rapport with my clients is something I take great pride in, and I tailor treatment plans to meet your unique needs.
