"The world's kind of a total mess. Sometimes it seems like everything is completely falling apart around us and none of us know how to handle it. We aren't all the same; why should we be expected to heal the same way? I'll work to meet you where you are at and support you in whatever way you find most beneficial. I am licensed in Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado and Vermont.
I am a dual diagnosis therapist, focusing largely on substance use and mental health, with a specialty in trauma work."
Alee has completed numerous certifications and trainings to be able to support all of her clients in whatever way is most beneficial to them. These include: Geek Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Parental Alienation. She is trained in harm reduction techniques, Seeking Safety, The Good Lives Model and is a certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. She is also a Certified Trauma Treatment Professional (CCTP), a ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD - CCSP) and a Registered Service Provider for the state of Nebraska.
When she's not in session with you, Alee spends her time supervising provisional therapists, reading, watching movies, playing with Tarot cards, collecting shiny rocks, and rocking out to metal. Oh... she has a partner and kids, too.
