Getting to know Alesia Albury

Hello! I'm Alesia, a licensed mental health counselor and nationally certified counselor who sees individuals, couples, and families. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. I've recognized that many people are suffering in silence. If you're one of them, I want to advocate for you by teaching you how to regulate your emotions, create a more positive mental space, and increase your self-esteem in the process. I became a counselor because I found excitement and fascination in understanding why people do what they do. Adding to my ability to provide that perspective in a clinical setting, I'm fulfilling my goal of impacting the world positively. If you're ready to actively change your mental, emotional, and honestly behavioral state, I'm here to help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

For starters, I don't tell clients what they want to hear, but what they need to hear. It's all done with peace, love and accountability. Many former clients find it refreshing to be in a safe space where they are accepted as themselves, where they are right now. I listen and reflect back on what I'm hearing, with many questions in between.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Love her. She will tell what you need to hear.

Alesia is an amazing therapist and I am so thankful to have found her. She is highly intelligent and qualified in giving coping skills and dealing with trauma, anxiety and depression among other things.
In addition to those two that I selected, I believe Alesia Albury's therapy style is also Open-minded, Warm, Challenging, Authentic, and Empowering. Narrowing those down to the two that stick out most was quite a challenge in itself. I greatly appreciate the work that Alesia and I continue to grow with as I had an incredible therapist in treatment and I knew it would be bitter sweet parting with her, but I remembered the wonderful, Grow Therapy, looked up "female therapists," and here we are! I am grateful to have found this platform through a recommendation, and Alesia is my favorite therapist ever. The best part is that she fit all of my mental and emotional needs, under my selected criteria. It is so empowering to be able to say this now as an lgbtq+ woman, with no influences and no pressure, I chose what I want and what I need for myself!
She is the best. I will continue to see her.
