“Alex was great at creating a welcoming environment. It was my first time in therapy and I was really hesitant about starting therapy. But Alex was really open to any questions I had and met me where I was at. He allowed me to open up as I became more comfortable and it allowed me to enjoy therapy. Something I thought I would not be able to do.”

What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring a calm and affirming presence to therapy, creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and truly seen. My approach is reflective and depth-oriented, which means we’ll not only explore your current challenges, but also the deeper patterns, emotions, and past experiences that may be influencing them. I believe that healing happens through insight, connection, and practical tools—so sessions often involve a balance of exploring your inner world while identifying strategies to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and in control of your life. As a trauma-informed therapist, I’m committed to offering care that is both identity-affirming and culturally sensitive. I work with men exploring masculinity and emotional expression, and I strive to create a supportive space for anyone navigating complex questions around identity, relationships, or belonging.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to your unique needs. In our first few sessions, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and gaining a deeper understanding of your goals, background, and what’s bringing you to therapy. We'll explore your experiences, patterns, and values to help create a clear direction for our work together. A typical session may include talking through current challenges, reflecting on emotions and thoughts, identifying unhelpful patterns, and practicing tools or strategies to help you feel more grounded and empowered. I often incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based work, depending on your preferences and goals. Throughout our work, I aim to create a calm, affirming, and reflective space where you feel heard, supported, and challenged in a compassionate way. Together, we’ll move at your pace, working toward insight, growth, and meaningful change.

I’ve had a few therapists over the years as i’ve dealt with alot of childhood trauma, depression, and anxiety most of my life. Alex was the first one that made me feel confortable enough to really talk about my past and for that im grateful. I never thought I would be able to get over my trauma but with Alex it really felt like I had someone to walk through the pain of it all with me. Im so grateful I found Alex and recommend him to anyone on a healing or growth journey
