Hello! My name is Alexa Stewart. I'm an LCSW located in Pennsylvania, and I hold a Master's in Social Work from Temple University. I have been in this field for around 8 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and being outdoors. I look forward to helping you progress towards your personal goals and aspirations!
What should a new client know about working with you?
The first session will be more of an information gathering session, gaining insight from you as to what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We will discuss any past experiences with therapy, positive and negative experiences, what worked for you and what did not.
I have worked with all ages throughout the past 8 years. I began working as a case manager with children and their families, then moved into a family therapist role and then an individual therapist role in a hospital setting. I have worked with individuals in their homes, communities and hospital settings.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
