Psychotherapist

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor working with clients of all ages and stages of life. I'm passionate about meeting clients where they are and collaboratively working together toward their goals. My approach I practice client-centered counseling and believe that the foundation of any healthy therapeutic relationship is trust, safety, and genuine care. It is important for clients to feel in charge of their treatment and to work collaboratively to establish goals. I believe in the power of telling stories, reframing perspectives, and challenging patterns of thoughts and beliefs that can interfere with clients' ability to meet their social and emotional goals. My focus I support clients of all ages and have spent the last 12 years working specifically with young people ages 12-18, their parents, and young to middle-aged adults. I work with clients dealing with anxiety and depression and am passionate about supporting people going through life changes-relational, physical, health-related, and more-and helping them find healing, joy, comfort, and support in the midst or aftermath of difficult circumstances. My communication style I have a calm and relaxed demeanor. Clients can expect to always feel respected, heard, and cared for. I believe clients need to feel safe and supported, and that progress toward counseling goals only begins once healthy rapport and trust exist. My journey to mental healthcare I have spent the majority of my career working in a school setting, where the mental health aspect of the job is always at the heart of my work with students, their parents, and my colleagues. Mental health and wellness are at the core of overall well-being, and I am passionate about providing the emotional and social support clients need as they heal, change, grow, and pursue their goals.
