Alexander Foster, LMHC

Alexander Foster, LMHC

Psychotherapist
WA
I have been practicing therapy for over ten years, focusing on providing trauma-informed and holistic care to those seeking clinical support. My approach is to assist people in processing anxiety, stress, and depression by using therapeutic tools that help develop skills to bring more joy into their lives. I use evidence-based practices proven to be highly effective. I take the time to understand what each person is going through and provide therapeutic support aimed at addressing the barriers in their lives. I work with clients seeking insight and control over anxiety and stress, especially those whose trauma is triggered by life's stressors. My communication style is centered on making you feel comfortable, supported, and connected to the process. I speak in a way that encourages you to achieve what you want from therapy. My journey to mental healthcare began with a deep desire to help people feel and do better in their lives. After taking a psychology class in college that I truly enjoyed, I continued to study and expand my knowledge. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University Seattle and have continually enhanced my skills to provide the best clinical support and care possible. Setting goals in therapy is important to track your progress and guide your treatment. These goals will be yours, and we will update them throughout therapy to ensure they remain supportive to you. In our first session, we will focus on understanding your needs from therapy and how I can best support you in reaching your goals.
