Getting to know Alexander Netzley

My clinical experience over the past six years has been working within the court system and a private practice. This has given me hundreds of hours of experience with difficult mental health diagnoses and allowed me to hone my skills in the therapeutic trenches. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Central Michigan University, which has further equipped me to support my clients effectively. I am happy to bring these skills to my clients at our private virtual practice. My goal is to help as many people as possible gain stability and wellbeing within their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I look to work with clients in processing through their mental health struggles as well build resilience during the therapy process. My clinical orientation is to utilize techniques that can help clients put out the fires that might currently be burning in their lives. Also, When those fires have been put out I look to help clients better understand where the root causes of their issue come from.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sessions will usually begin with an initial check in on what is happening that current week with the client. After processing through any initial issues that have come up the session will shift focus towards the major issues that have been identified by the client. Sessions are always guided by the clients wants and needs.
