I'm a fan of working with Alex. He's smart, patient and can bring a new perspective to things that I'm not always capable of seeing. I highly recommend him!
Alex has been my therapist for almost four years now, during which he has helped guide me through some extremely difficult times, and supported my growth and self-accountability with unwavering kindness and a sense of humor as well. Not only is he a great listener, but with his social work background he is also always ready to provide specific resources and practices that complement our sessions, from book recommendations to mindfulness and meditation techniques and beyond. I feel so grateful to have found Alex, and I am deeply proud of the work that I have done under his guidance.
I felt comfortable talking to Alex pretty much instantly. I know this is not always the case. I am a relatively new patient but I very much appreciate his attentiveness in listening and his Zen Koan like responses at times that help me frame things more clearly.
Alex is a great therapist! He is very approachable, easy to work with and deeply committed to helping his patience. During the time I've seen him, he has gone above and beyond to find ways to help and further my therapy. I came to him in crisis and he has helped me work through many difficult days. If you're exploring therapy for the first time Alex is great at introducing his patience to speech therapy.
