CT
Hello, I am Alexandra Corriveau, but you can call me Allie! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Art Therapist with 8 years of experience providing an eclectic counseling approach to clients in need. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology and Ceramics from the University of Hartford and my Master's in Art Therapy and Counseling from Springfield College. Since then, I have worked in many different clinical settings. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of various therapeutic approaches. While I have experience leading clients through Art Therapy techniques, not every client I work with needs to utilize art. I like to have a creative, comfortable, and solution-focused approach to the work we do. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy, I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself on providing a safe and supportive space to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. I specialize in addressing ADHD in women and anxiety. I am fully committed to listening and offering my best professional practices to help you. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach in every conversation we share. Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to be part of this very important journey. I look forward to meeting you!
