Alexandra Ross is a “Licensed Professional Counselor" and their license number is 37PC00724200. Hi, I’m Ali—welcome. Are you looking for a space where you can be fully yourself and feel truly heard? My approach is warm, compassionate, and honest. I’ll help guide you toward deeper insight and support you in taking steps to create lasting change. Nothing is off-limits—we can explore it all together. I work with children, teens, and adults, and I bring experience from schools, outpatient, and intensive settings. Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, or identity, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence. Let’s do the work together—your story matters, and I’m here to help you write the next chapter with purpose and power. My approach My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe that each person is the expert of their own experience, and I work to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. For many clients, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. When appropriate, I incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy interpersonal relationships. With children, especially those who may struggle to express themselves through words alone, I use art therapy-informed approaches and play-based tools to help them explore their feelings, build insight, and develop coping skills in an engaging and developmentally appropriate way. This can be particularly helpful for children experiencing anxiety, school avoidance, or big life transitions. At the heart of my work is a person-centered foundation.
