Getting to know Alexandrea Defelice

Are you feeling a general lack of enjoyment with your life? Are you worrying more than usual or feeling helpless? Are you struggling with motivation or feeling down/sad? Either due to deep-rooted issues, trauma, relational concerns, or a number of other reasons, life can get in the way! Consistent stressors can prevent us from living our best life! You don't have to suffer alone. Therapy can allow a welcoming environment for change! My intent is to create a safe space where we can work together to address the issues you are facing, improve understanding of yourself, and help you feel less stuck in existing patterns. I graduated from Salem State University in 2012. I have an extensive background in crisis counseling. I am also a licensed school counselor. My practice includes long-term supportive and insight-oriented therapy, as well shorter-term solution-focused therapy and techniques of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. My therapeutic style is warm and active. I want you to feel supported, comfortable, and appropriately challenged in order for you to make meaningful changes in your life. My specialties are depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, substance use, and relationship concerns. In my free time, I love to sing, spend time with my animals, read, and travel.
