Getting to know Alexandria Agostinelli

I provide online therapy for adults across Florida, with a focus on supporting clients in Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, and the surrounding South Florida community. My work includes anxiety therapy, trauma-informed care, and EMDR therapy, helping clients feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to themselves. I help individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or “stuck” create more clarity, confidence, and connection in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy during moments of transition—feeling unsure of themselves, carrying emotional weight from the past, or struggling to show up the way they want in their relationships. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I help you understand what’s driving your patterns, learn practical tools to manage anxiety and stress, and build healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. You don’t have to have everything figured out for therapy to work—you just have to be open to change. Whether you're navigating life changes, healing from trauma, working through relationship challenges, or wanting to feel more grounded day-to-day, I provide a supportive space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with who you’re becoming. If you’re ready to feel clearer, calmer, and more in control of your life, I’m here to help you begin that process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and judgment-free space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, but the pace and direction of our work are shaped by your needs, goals, and comfort level. In our sessions, I’ll help you understand what’s contributing to your current patterns—whether that’s anxiety, past experiences, stress, or relationship dynamics—and teach you practical tools you can use right away to feel more in control. I focus on helping you gain clarity, build self-awareness, and create meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and show up in your life. You’ll find that I’m direct when it’s helpful, gentle when things feel heavy, and always focused on making sure you feel supported. Therapy with me is a partnership: we explore, problem-solve, and grow together at a pace that feels right for you. If you’re open to change, willing to be curious, and ready for a space that truly meets you where you are, I’m here to help you start that process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, we take time to understand what brings you in, what you’ve been navigating, and what goals you’d like to work toward. I ask thoughtful questions to get a full picture of your experiences, stressors, and strengths so we can create a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you. In ongoing sessions, you can expect a balance of exploration and practical tools. We might process what’s been coming up for you, identify patterns or triggers, build coping strategies, and work on improving communication, boundaries, or emotional regulation—depending on your needs that week. I often incorporate CBT and solution-focused strategies, along with a warm and reflective approach that helps you make sense of both your inner world and your relationships. Therapy with me is active and collaborative. I offer guidance, ask questions that deepen insight, and help you connect the dots, but we go at a pace that feels supportive. You’ll leave sessions with greater clarity and, when appropriate, concrete strategies to apply between our meetings.
