What should a new client know about working with you?

While I treat a wide range of concerns, I've had a great deal of experience working with individuals with ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. Not everyone with these conditions needs therapy. However, if you're looking to improve emotional regulation, find tools for better coping with challenges and stressors, and improve your sense of well-being, therapy might help. My experience includes working with people across the communication spectrum, including those who have limited verbal abilities, helping with self-expression, navigating challenges, and building confidence in daily life. I value creating a therapeutic environment that honors each person’s individuality and provides the support you need to thrive. I’m here to walk with you through any challenges you’re facing, help you grow, and find emotional balance along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My typical process includes first building a strong foundation of rapport and trust. We will go at your pace—you will never be forced to share or talk about anything that you are not ready to dive into. I offer different styles of therapy depending on what works best for you—some individuals like to create art/make a craft while we talk, or even go for a walk together. For kids and teens, sometimes they prefer to chat while playing a game or while using my sandtray. My goal is for therapy to feel comfortable and casual, while still moving toward your goals.
