Alexandria Lamont, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
My name is Alexandria LaMont, M.S, NCC, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor currently licensed and practicing in the state of Georgia. Although I am now considered a southern gal, I am a city girl at heart. I was born and raised in Brooklyn/Queens, New York in a multi-cultural (Puerto Rican / African American) household. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College located in Atlanta, GA. I also received my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. I consider myself to be a “non-traditional” counselor due to my unique approach to therapy and authentic personality. I am dedicated to destigmatizing, normalizing and advocating for mental health and wellness across underserved and marginalized communities. I am very passionate about helping others become the best version of themselves. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, traveling, art, listening to music and engaging in intentional self-care.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
