Hello, my name is Alexia Totoro and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who has been active in the field of mental and behavioral health for over 10 years. Overall, I have diverse experiences revolving around my desire to continue to empower individuals to find their most authentic selves. My clinical perspective is warm, genuine, non-judgmental, strengths-based, and goal-oriented. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, who are eager to take steps towards their goals. The first session provides you the opportunity to get to know me and see if I am the right fit for your needs. I will ask questions to understand what brought you to therapy and to learn more about your life history. These questions allow us to develop a treatment plan together and develop interventions that will work best for you. I utilize evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical-behavioral therapy.
