Alexis's approach to therapy begins with a holistic lens, uncovering and understanding each client's unique qualities and identities. This allows her to gain a deeper understanding of the client and provide a uniquely tailored therapeutic experience.
She has experience working with a multicultural population of adults, adolescents, children, the elderly, families, and couples. Alexis has worked primarily with patients in intensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs, which has equipped her to confidently identify safety concerns and at-risk patients. She has developed crisis stabilization and de-escalation skills while working with emotionally dysregulated clients. Additionally, Alexis has supported culturally diverse families and couples in navigating relationship issues during sessions and has provided one-on-one therapy.
