Whether you are taking this step for the first time or the hundredth, it is rarely easy but always courageous. I have found education about the connection between our emotional experience, our body's physiological response, and our brain to be especially helpful in understanding where our symptoms arise and how they manifest in daily life. I strive to provide this as a supplement to our therapeutic work. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati, which has deepened my understanding and approach to therapy. A strong relationship with your therapist is also paramount to address concerns causing you pain or preventing you from moving forward. I look forward to hearing from you!
