It can be challenging to navigate barriers to change alone, so let’s tackle those hurdles together to work towards what you want out of life. I am committed to be your biggest advocate and will do what I can to empower you as we work towards the life you deserve. Here’s a little bit more about me: I have spent the vast majority of my adult life working in higher education as I pursued my career aspirations of becoming a therapist. I live by the mantra “be the person you needed to be when you were younger.” In my free time, I enjoy exploring the local food scene and documenting my experiences with food photography, binging the latest Netflix series, or learning new skills through Tik Tok. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a BA in Psychology and received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. I have experience providing individual counseling focused on Depression, Anxiety, Coping Skills, Self-Care, and Career and Academic Counseling. Client Focus: Teens and Young Adults dealing with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, body image, academic and work stress, and relationship challenges. Specialized Training: Certified Crisis Counselor through the Crisis Text Line. Anxiety Treatment Training.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You and I will work together to get a clear picture of who you are, remove a lot of the self-doubt, add some perspective and build upon the strengths you already possess. My role is to both challenge and support you throughout the process to draw out existing strengths, initiate the healing process and promote growth. I strive to create a space that feels warm, empathetic and safe to explore the reasons for which you seek therapy.
