I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over ten years of experience in the field. I studied at St. John's University and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University in New York. I am a dedicated and passionate individual who strongly believes that mental health care services are misrepresented in many communities, especially within minority communities. As a result of these misrepresentations, most individuals do not receive the adequate services they truly require. I have experience working with a variety of populations, including those experiencing severe persistent mental illness, chemical dependency, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, LGBTQ issues, relationship issues, and much more.

I am open-minded, empowering and challenging. I recognize that growth is a process, an uncomfortable process at that. I am here to provide the support you need. My focus is to empower you to fulfill your greatest potential.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe in a Personal Centered and Strength Based approach in which I utilize Cognitive Behavorial Therapy to assist my clients with embracing their therapeutic journey.
