Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, behavior challenges, self-esteem, or school-related stress, I create a safe and engaging space where they can feel understood and supported. What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where your experiences and emotions are met with curiosity and compassion. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals — whether we’re using creative tools with children, helping teens navigate big emotions, or supporting adults through life transitions. I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship first and foremost, and I’ll always meet you where you are. We’ll work at your pace, and I’ll check in often to ensure you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When working with children or teens, I typically begin by meeting with the parent or caregiver first. This allows us to safely and thoroughly discuss background information, concerns, and goals for therapy before bringing the child into the process. It helps me gain a clear understanding of the family dynamic and ensures we’re building a strong foundation for support. Once I’ve met with the parent, I begin working with the child or teen using developmentally appropriate approaches such as play, art, or talk therapy, depending on their needs and comfort level. I provide regular check-ins with parents while also respecting the child’s confidentiality to build trust. I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate major life transitions, identity development, relationships, and increased independence. My approach is collaborative and supportive, offering a space to sort through challenges and build confidence during this pivotal stage of life. For adult clients, we dive into your goals early on and tailor the process collaboratively. In all cases, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where growth can happen at your pace.

More information on payments and coverage

At this time, I offer self-pay only while I am under prelicensure. I am not able to accept insurance, but I strive to make therapy as accessible as possible. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need, and I’m happy to discuss options during our initial consultation. My goal is to ensure that cost does not become a barrier to care, and I welcome open conversations about what works best for your situation.
