Hi there and welcome! I'm Alexys. I am a licensed mental health counselor with a passion for helping others achieve a better quality of life. I consider it a privilege and blessing to make this my life's work. I earned my MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University, which has equipped me with the skills to support my clients effectively. We all deserve to be heard and seen. I am happy to meet you exactly where you're at and be that person for you. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. I utilize a variety of interventions tailored to each individual's needs and personal goals, creating a safe space where healing from the inside out can take place.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session, we will get to know one another and get a thorough picture of the challenges you're facing in order to collaboratively create a plan and focus moving forward in treatment. You will leave the session with a few "actions to take right now" so that you are ready and can officially begin the process of working toward your personal goals. I like to provide the client with practical tools to equip them to cope adaptively to whatever difficulties they may face.
