Getting to know Aleyna Sarap

I would like to be there for people in ways I wish people are there for me, by creating a safe, nurturing, empowering, and growing environment for my patients to explore and heal within the depths of their hearts. I have extensive experience in the inpatient setting from having helped patients with diverse presentations, while integrating multiple modalities into my treatment and having knowledge of the appropriate medications needed from having worked closely with psychiatrists. I have completed my MS degree from the State University of New York. I also have a postgraduate diploma in Islamic Psychology from Cambridge College. I have a bio-psycho-social-spiritual frame of looking at all aspects of our health to help transform the wellness of my patients. I believe people are not their diagnosis, and there is a way to get better as long as one wills and strives for it. A space for hearts seeking healing - wherever, however, and whomever you are.
