My name is Alfred Crixell Jr., and I'm passionate about helping you become the best possible version of yourself. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and an MEd in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. For the past 18 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in areas such as substance abuse and addiction, depression, anxiety, behavior, life skills, and anger management, as well as couples and marriage counseling in all relationships. I believe that the past doesn't equal the future. You can begin to change your life by focusing on what's in front of you, not the past. Let's work together and start to make that change today!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe the therapeutic relationship to be like a team working towards the same outcome. In a team, each person has a role to play. I will do my best to provide all the resources and tools you'll need to reach your goals. In order to be successful, however, all team members have to do their part. Your role is just as important. There will be work to be done. It is a process; but nothing will change unless we change. Working with me, you will receive actionable steps to practice. I will provide hope and support along your journey in a compassionate and non-judgemental way. I believe you have what it takes to get where you need to go. You got this!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
