Getting to know Alicia Betancourt
Hello there. My name is Alicia. I am licensed in Florida and have been conducting therapy since 2011. I hold both a Bachelor's degree and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I enjoy helping individuals, families, and groups with problems they do not feel they can solve for themselves. Everyone has their own strengths, and sometimes it is difficult for them to find them. Let’s start with a plan for success.
My specialties include working with teenagers, people with disabilities, and anyone who just needs someone to listen. I also have concentrations in vocational rehabilitation and benefits counseling. I look forward to working with you.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During our first session, we will get a chance to know each other and determine what goals you would like to work on. Once your goals are established, we will have an opportunity to work on those goals with homework assignments and developing some strategies. In the final phase, you will find yourself maintaining your level of care and accomplishing your goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
