Even though painful experiences are inevitable, suffering does not have to hold us back from living satisfying and fulfilling lives. In meeting with you where you are in your journey, I will help you develop your own set of skills to help you through your daily experiences. I also encourage approaching challenges with vulnerability and self-compassion and will assist in practicing these areas in our sessions. I graduated with my MSW from UNLV in 2010 and have a certificate in Complex Trauma and Dissociation from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. I am also a Certified Geek Therapist through Geek Therapeutics, where I use the following interventions while incorporating geek culture. My approach is eclectic and trauma-informed, including but not limited to the use of EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, DBT, and solution-focused interventions.
