Hello, I'm Alisha. Do you often feel weighed down by feelings of anxiety? Or, if you find it difficult to make friends and experience loneliness regularly as a result, come talk to me. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful social connections. I recently received my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern University and A&M College. With experience working with both adolescents and adults, I use a client-centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of existentialism, mindfulness, family-systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I always keep careful consideration of cultural concerns and practices in mind. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, spirituality, life transitions, relational problems, and other life experiences. My passion lies in assisting individuals, families, and relationships of any kind to connect more wholly with themselves and others. My empathy and warmth help to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal. I have enormous compassion for people going through life's challenges and transitions and feel privileged to work with those who are seeking support. If you're ready to take the next step towards healing and connection, I invite you to reach out. Let's work together to help you find the peace and fulfillment you deserve.
