Alisha Massey-Dalton, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana with over 7 years of experience working with adolescents and adults as a school counselor, mental health counselor, and substance abuse counselor. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern University and A&M College. My life and work experiences in public and private organizations, as well as my time as a minister, have helped me develop expertise and clinical tools to educate and assist others on their life journey. My approach I utilize evidence-based methods to help clients move at their own pace toward their goals. I facilitate the therapeutic process but believe each client has the power and ability to direct their own growth and learning. The most common theoretical approach I use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My focus I work with adults as individuals, couples, and families and offer care in English. My communication style I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, no matter their background or past issues. My therapeutic approach follows the "golden rule," and if you believe in the golden rule, then I am the counselor for you. Upon meeting me, you will experience a sense of restoration from my genuine character.
