Getting to know Alison Phillips

I am an LCSW serving adolescents and adults in Indiana. Throughout my career, I've worked with a multitude of different clients and client groups and have found a passion for exploring trauma-more specifically, how past trauma shows up in our lives today. I believe that everyone is capable of change and that clients hold the truth to their own recovery. My role as your therapist is to act as a mirror that allows you to see yourself more clearly and, from that clarity, take the steps you need to live a fulfilling life. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Purdue University Indianapolis. LGBTQ+ Affirming

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to be treated with empathy, non-judgement, and compassion as they safely explore their areas of hurt and pain. Most clients find that after session they notice a greater sense of peace and direction of how they want to move forward.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I haven’t been seeing her for long, but she’s already been helping me quite a lot, more than the other therapists I’ve had. She’s also super easy to talk to! She makes you feel so comfortable, I would absolutely recommend her.
Alison makes it apparent that she's there to listen and hold space for those who need it, while validating and building new skills to take with you in your days. I have had incredible sessions that have me laughing and feeling like I'm at home, while also having space to cry and feel what I haven't been able to feel before. I am becoming a better person, and it's remarkable. Thank you Alison!
Alison is wonderful to talk to and so very warm and receptive to just about anything thrown at her. I’m so thankful for having found her and honestly look forward to therapy for the first time with any therapist I’ve ever had.
She is the first therapist I’ve had where I feel not only heard but she strives to figure me out and pinpoint the areas I need the most help in. I’m excited to continue and see where this leads. She seems very goal oriented and I can’t wait to see what goals we can achieve.
