Getting to know Alison Piller

Welcome! And congratulations on taking this courageous big step towards improving your life. I know that is no small feat. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received my Master's in Social Work from New York University in 2003. I have worked in various healthcare settings with individuals, groups, and couples. I work with adults of all ages struggling with common issues like stress, interpersonal conflict, low self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed, and coping with loss. Much of my clinical experience is with older populations facing challenges related to aging, retirement, finding new purpose and meaning in life, areas of loss, and living with chronic conditions. I utilize a broad range of mind and body approaches to help uncover behaviors and patterns of thinking that reinforce negative feelings and prevent you from living your best life. I am right by your side every step of the way, working collaboratively to address your individual challenges in the context of your unique life, moving toward self-compassion, self-discovery, and healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
