“I love working with her! Have had many therapists, but she is easily the most understanding. She knows just how and when to ask the hard questions, and how to help you find the answer yourself instead of looking to her for the answer (when dealing with more philosophical dilemmas versus physical symptoms) .”

Getting to know Alissa Hodge

I strive to create a safe, relaxed, and comfortable environment where you can be yourself and discuss anything without judgment. As your therapist, I will work collaboratively with you to support and guide you in achieving your goals and living a happier, healthier life. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Florida, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate care. ***Mrs. Hodge does not provide any services pertaining to processing short-term disability and/or long-term disability.***

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am passionate about teaching others "tools" for their "toolbox", meaning, if you are looking for guidance and help, I can do that by introducing new techniques and teaching new coping skills. I am also someone who can listen and provide guidance when needed. Expectations will be different because everyone's needs are different.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Alissa communicates very clearly and is super understanding and sympathetic. She made an environment that is usually uneasy for me, very comfortable and welcoming. I see myself sticking with her, thank you so much!
