Getting to know Alissa Sladek

Hi, I am Alissa. Have you ever felt trapped in your own brain? Felt like your emotions are running away with your life? I help individuals learn how to control their thoughts and emotions so they can enrich their lives with healthier relationships, reduced stress, and emotional balance. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the College of St. Scholastica. I specialize in anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, relationship issues, and emotional distress, among other concerns. I love working with the strength-based model and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support my clients on their journey to wellness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I understand that every person is unique and every circumstance is unique, therefore every session will be different depending on what each person needs in the session. I would expect every individual to walk away from each session with new skills, clearer sense of self and more peace.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
