Psychotherapist
TX
I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels both relaxed and professional, giving clients space to speak openly while feeling supported and respected. My approach is eclectic, meaning I draw from multiple therapy models to meet each client’s individual needs. I often use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as core methods, while adapting my style if a client responds better to a solution-focused or conversational approach. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and actively involved in shaping their own therapeutic experience. What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients can expect a calm, open, and collaborative atmosphere. I believe therapy works best when the client’s voice is centered, so I encourage you to share your preferences, goals, and what helps you feel most comfortable. I maintain an “open-door” attitude when it comes to feedback—if something isn’t working for you, we will adjust together. While I value warmth and authenticity in the session, I also won’t shy away from gently challenging you when it supports your growth. My goal is to make therapy feel approachable while still helping you move forward. Medicaid Clients PLEASE READ We Accept MEDICAID FOR TARRANT AND DALLAS COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY. We Do NOT accept Texas Children's, Community First, Community Health Choice. Medicaid appointments must be scheduled through our office. During our first few sessions, I focus on understanding your concerns, identifying your goals, and getting a sense of what therapeutic approach best fits you. From there, we’ll collaborate to create a plan that blends evidence-based strategies—often DBT or CBT—with techniques tailored to your personality and preferences. Sessions may include exploring patterns, practicing coping skills, processing emotions, or building solutions depending on what you need in the moment. Throughout therapy, I continuously check in to ensure our work still aligns with your goals and feels supportive and effective.
